Here's a small update with fantastic news! 🎉 Surveys are out, and most of you have already completed them - superb job! 🙌

Just a quick reminder: If you’re paying in parts, you won’t receive your survey until your final payment is made. No worries, as this will align perfectly with the expected shipping date!


🎃 Dottie Death's-Head 🎃

So far, 17 Dottie plushies have been pre-ordered, bringing us closer to our goal of making her a reality! 🎃

 🦋 Monty Prototype 🦋

Monty’s body build is officially approved! 🎉 This little bug… man… creature is shaping up beautifully. From his three fingers to his tiny buggy toes, he’s an absolute treasure.
 

The last plush tweak was his tail! We adjusted the base to create a cuter, rounder “bulb” shape while making it easier to fit through pants/trouser accessories.




Final approvals that are left are just for the props and clothing. Props are extremely particularly shaped and sized, due to safety guidelines with magnets. The measuring cup and candle are taking the most effort to perfect due to their spherical shapes, the thermometer is just about completed, and the spatula just needs a fabric color change and a small magnet adjustment!




🌙 Laisy Luna Moth 🌙

Now that Monty’s plush design is locked in, we’re moving on to Laisy’s prototype! Since their body structure is similar to Monty’s, this process should be a bit smoother - though they’ll have unique embroidery and fabric length variations.

I’ll share photos as soon as we have a solid prototype!

The biggest challenge? Laisy’s clothing! This will be our first time working with:
👚 Layering fabrics
🦋 Snaps & openings for wings/tails

It’ll be a fun adventure! ✨

A Plushpanions Discord server is in the works! This was something I debated for a while, but as soon as one of you Wild Ones brought it up, it became clear - it’s an absolute must!

My partner and I are working hard to ensure every detail is thoughtfully planned. From helpful bots, role selection and honor titles ( based on how long you've been pledging ) to safety measures, age requirements, and community events, this space will be designed with care.

It’ll be a fantastic way to connect with fellow Wild Ones, share updates, outfits, and stay engaged with mini competitions and quests - without worrying about lost emails or full inboxes!

Hey Wild Ones!

I hope you're doing well, and happy March! Apologies for the delay in updates - I’ve been mass-shipping out Krampus plushies from my first BackerKit campaign. Now that those little fellas are on their way ( and surely up to mischief ), I can fully focus on Monty & friends!



🗓️ Estimated Schedule for the Eclipse Pals Campaign 🗓️


1️⃣ BackerKit Surveys ( Coming Soon! )
  • These surveys confirm your pledge, shipping address, and payment details.
  • Initially, "Smoke Tests" will go out, meaning a small batch of surveys will be sent at random to ensure everything is working properly.
  • Once confirmed, all surveys will be sent!
  • You’ll also be able to grab Add-Ons like extra stickers, including newly added moth stickers, and the collab pin!



📧 Keep an eye on your email ( including spam ). If your survey is incomplete, you’ll be notified!

2️⃣ Survey Deadline – March 17th
  • This locks your pledge so I know exactly how many of each item to produce.
  • Moving this year? No worries! Your shipping address can be updated closer to the fulfillment date - just keep reading updates so you know when we’re getting close to shipping!

3️⃣ Charging Cards – March 22nd
  • This is the Saturday after the survey deadline.
  • Cards will be charged for any new Add-Ons and shipping fees.

4️⃣ Production Begins!
  • Stickers, pins, and plushies galore! Production will officially begin on your goodies.
  • Laisy will be a little behind since their sample needs to be finalized before full production can start.

5️⃣ Quality Checks & Shipping Prep
  • Once everything arrives, I’ll check for quality before shipping.
  • Keep an eye on emails for any failed payments or incomplete surveys.
  • Before shipping begins, I’ll do a final address confirmation for anyone who needs to update theirs.

6️⃣ Shipping & Delivery Estimates
  • Monty & other items – Estimated to ship in Summer 2025.
  • Laisy – Estimated to ship closer to Autumn 2025.

⚠️ If your order includes both Monty & Laisy, your order will be held until Laisy is ready. This helps keep shipping costs lower for everyone!

There's a new BackerKit feature that I'm trying out - unlocking more Add-Ons! If enough people purchase a specific Add-On, it will unlock for the campaign! In this case, if 95 Dottie Death’s-Head Hawkmoths are pre-ordered, she will officially be unlocked for production! Let’s see if we can bring her to life in the final hour!

🔓 Plush Unlocks 🔓

Together, we successfully funded Monty Mothman and unlocked a bonus plush design - Laisy Luna Moth!

Once Laisy's plush prototyping begins, I’ll be sharing Behind-the-Scenes photos every step of the way! Their design is similar to Monty’s, except for wing shapes and fur lengths, so I’m hoping for a quick turnaround on samples, but only time will tell!

There are just 3 days left to vote on the unlocking order for the Fabled Friends campaign ( Series 3 )!

I say "upcoming" loosely - because there’s a lot of work to do before launch ( namely, creating plush prototypes! ). These are complex designs, and I won’t rush them.

Since the start of this project, I’ve received so much love for Dottie! From fellow Halloween lovers ( like myself ) to those who simply appreciate spooky things. To that I say: don’t worry, Dottie will be made!

Dottie will be the sole focus of a future project! 🎃 I’m not sure yet if it will be before or after Series 3, but I do know I want to give everyone time to recover from the massive Pintopia success - so Dottie gets the best chance to shine!

BackerKit surveys will be sent around March 3rd. This is how you’ll:
✅ Confirm your plush selections
✅ Add any extra Add-Ons
✅ Provide shipping details

Surveys are sent two weeks after the campaign ends to allow BackerKit time to process payments.


🎨 Production Timeline 🎨

🔹 March 10th: Production begins for pins, stickers, and other non-plush items.
🔹 Early Spring: Monty's plush production starts! Just a few tiny prototype tweaks ( so small most wouldn’t notice - but I have a very specific vision! 👁️👁️ ).
🔹 After Monty’s prototype is finalized: Laisy’s prototyping begins, with Behind-the-Scenes updates along the way!
🔹 July ( Tentative ): Monty plush shipments begin! 🚚💨 ( This may shift, so keep an eye on BackerKit updates. )
🔹 Laisy shipments will follow shortly after! I don’t have an exact estimate yet, but I’ll keep you posted every step of the way.
