Hey Wild Ones, it's finally here... Monty Mothman and His Eclipse Pals is launching in 15 HOURS! 🚀

We got nearly 250 followers for the campaign before launch, I am absolutely FLOORED! 🎉 Thank you for all of the love for this project, your encouragement and sharing of the project helped me chug through the last few days of finalizing everything for the campaign!

With that said, I'm really here to remind you of the multiple freebies you can get when pledging to the campaign!



🐣 The Early Bird Pin 🐣

Get a shiny golden "stamp-style" metal Monty Mothman pin when backing the campaign within the FIRST 48 HOURS OF LAUNCH! The pledge must be a physical pledge, as digital pledges won't register for Incentive pins or Cross-Collab pin redemption.

🐐 Previous Backer Pin 🐐

If you pledged to our first ever campaign, for the Kidd Krampus Plushpanion, you can get a golden "stamp-style" metal Kidd Krampus pin, just by pledging to this campaign!



📍 Cross Collab Pin 📍

I have the honor of collaborating with the fantastic Princefizzart for this year's Pintopia 2025 event. Cross-Collabs means if you pledge to his campaign at a physical level, in addition to Monty Mothman, you'll get a free pin from both of us! We've designed our own black metal pins to coincide with each other, based on the "light" theme that both of our plushies have.


You heard that right, it's another awesome plushy campaign! Pricefizz's campaign is the Moon Servant: Fear & Hunger plush. A purple cat plush with soft faux fur and a removable outfit, what isn't there to love? Be sure to check out their project, here!



🧸 Achievements 🧸

We're also introducing our first ever stretch goals with this campaign. On BackerKit, they're known as Achievements. After reaching Monty Mothman's production goal of $8,000 our next goal is to reach $16,000 to unlock production for Laisy Luna moth, then Dottie Death's-head Hawkmoth, and so on. There are five moths in total to unlock, will we unlock them all? 👀

🎊 Welcome! 🎊


I'm stoked to have you all here for maneuvering this "mothy" adventure, especially since we have a lot of "firsts" with this project. Some firsts include: Unlocking Plush Designs, Free Pin Incentives, Pintopia and our first Cross Collab partner! 🎉


🔗 Cross Collab 🔗 

Cross Collabs are a BackerKit feature, where if you pledge to two projects that are partnered together, you'll get 2 free pins - 1 per artist. For Mothman's project, I have the special honor of cross collaborating with Princefizz! 🎉

Princefizz ( he/him ) is a Scottish artist that specializes in cute illustrations and designs. He's been creating keychains and personal merchandise for years, but officially started Princefizz Art in 2023! His Pintopia plush campaign is for the Fear & Hunger Moon Servant plush. An adorable ( but deadly ) cuddly plush featuring a beloved servant of Rher. Standing at an impressive 18", this plush features soft faux fur, embroidered details, and a removable plush suit, making him the perfect companion for a cozy night in.


Below are the free pins you can earn by backing both of our projects. These will be 1.75" black metal pins. Follow Princefizz's campaign here to be notified of when it launches!





📍 Pintopia: Pins 'n Plushies 📍

Pintopia 2025 is a celebration of creativity and collaboration of over 175 artists launching pin and plushy crowdfunding campaigns! This online event takes place from January 23 to February 13. During this event you can earn exclusive rewards just by backing campaigns. These freebies come from the previously mentioned cross-collab pins, and additionally, if you back 10+ campaigns during Pintopia you earn 1 limited edition Gold Pintopia 2025 Pin from BackerKit.


 🔓  Unlocking Designs 🔓

Throughout the Monty Mothman campaign, we will unlock stretch goals for additional moth plush designs to be made! Once Monty has reached his funding goal of $8,000, the next plushy stretch goal will be added. In this case, it would be the Laisy Luna plush for $16,000, then Dottie the Death's-Head Hawkmoth and so on.

When you pledge to the campaign, you'll be selecting the amount of plushies you would like to have, not the specific designs. Then once the campaign is complete, you'll be able to select which plushies from the designs that have been unlocked.



📍 Free Pins 📍

Finally, there are more freebies! For the first time, I will be adding pin incentives to our campaign, the "Early Bird" and the "Previous Backer" pin, these pins are earned by pledging to the Mothman campaign and also meeting one other criteria each. The Early Bird pin you receive from backing Monty Mothman within the first 48 hours of his launch, and the Previous Backer pin you would receive if you previously pledged to the Kidd Krampus campaign. You are able to have both free pins, if both conditions apply!



I'm thrilled to say that, as of right now, we have 213 followers for the Monty Mothman and His Eclipse Pals campaign. This means that we are highly likely to be funded within the first 48 hours of launch - Exciting things are ahead and I look forward to sharing it with you! 🎉
